NBC has made a change to its schedule, officially pulling the upcoming Law and Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Corrosive" for its 27th season, following the charges filed against actor Timothy Busfield, who was set to guest star. Busfield played a judge in the January 15 episode. It's been confirmed that the episode is shelved and instead, NBC will air the upcoming episode originally slated for January 22. Busfield guest-starred in the series once before, in 2011, and has also directed two episodes. Just recently, charges were filed, and an arrest warrant was issued in New Mexico for the actor on charges of sexual abuse involving a minor. Those accusations stem from his time as a director on The Cleaning Lady, produced by Warner Bros. The company issued the following statement following the charges:

"The health and safety of our cast and crew is always our top priority, especially the safety of minors on our productions. We take all allegations of misconduct very seriously and have systems in place to promptly and thoroughly investigate, and when needed, take appropriate action. We are aware of the current charges against Mr. Busfield and have been and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement."
