CBS Evening News anchor Tony Dokoupil will interview Donald Trump in Detroit on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters.
The interview will be a “short pull aside” after touring a Ford factory, according to a pool report of Leavitt’s remarks.
Dokoupil has been traveling to major cities as part of a tour to kick off his tenure in the anchor chair.
He already has interviewed Trump administration figures including border czar Tom Homan and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Trump sat down in November for an interview with 60 Minutes correspondent Norah O’Donnell.
Trump is speaking to the Detroit Economic Club, as part of a White House effort to refocus attention on the White House’s economic agenda.
