In the world of streaming, there isn't another service as big as Netflix. The platform is home to a variety of amazing shows, movies, and even games. Netflix has gone out of its way to include top-tier anime as well, and 2026 will finally be the return of one of the most well-known names in the art form.

Netflix Is Home to Some of the Best Anime Around

Netflix has dominated the anime streaming game over the past few years. Some of the best anime of all time can be found on Netflix, and the platform is no stranger to amazing original series as well. Netflix might be the best streaming service in general for romance anime, as even Crunchyroll can't compete with Netflix's stacked lineup.

Blue Box, Violet Evergarden, and The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity are just some of the amazing romance anime series on Netflix. Now that Netflix has acquired Warner Bros., and in turn the Studio Ghibli films, its catalog just got even better.

Netflix is no stranger to anime classics. While they have a lot of the best gems of the modern day, they have several old-school hits, and this year, the streaming giant just brought back one of the most iconic series around.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Is Finally Back on Netflix

After a five-year-long absence, Yu-Gi-Oh! is finally back on Netflix. Like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! is an anime series that has transcended the genre. The card game and video games that are based on the series propelled the anime into popularity, letting everyone know just how entertaining Yugi and Yami's world truly is.

There are currently 49 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! on Netflix. Notably, Netflix has the first 49 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters on its platform. It doesn't have any other iteration of the franchise, nor does it have the remaining 175 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.

The first 49 episodes exist as the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. Hopefully, Netflix brings the rest of the series to its platform, but until then, fans can sit back and watch the first season of one of the best card-related animes series ever made.
