NCIS, NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney were supposed to return to CBS in February, but all three shows are being delayed. This isn't the only delay the police procedural franchise has experienced in recent months. CBS had a mid-season finale for NCIS: Sydney set for December 16, the same night as NCIS and NCIS: Origins, but the shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia two nights earlier led the network to postpone the episode.

The State of the Union is set for February 24 at 9 p.m., the same night that all three NCIS shows were scheduled to air their mid-season premieres. However, now that President Donald Trump will be delivering the annual speech to Congress that night, CBS has opted to delay the shows until March 3, according to TVLine.
