ZDNET's key takeaways

  • LG has released its 2026 TV lineup at CES.
  • Highlights include a new 9mm-thick Wallpaper TV.
  • The company also unveiled a new Gallery art TV.

It wouldn't be CES without new TV announcements, and while we already knew about some of what LG had in store, the company did drop a surprise -- the return of its ultra-thin Wallpaper TV.

This was our first glimpse of LG's upcoming offerings, and the W6 Wallpaper might be the most impressive addition, but everything else is worth a look.

Here's a look at LG's latest TV lineup.

The LG W6 Wallpaper TV

One of the highlights of this year's lineup is the new LG OLED W6 Wallpaper TV. The Wallpaper line itself isn't new, dating back to 2017, but this year's entry is only 9mm thick and features an improved wall mount that allows it to sit even more flush against the wall and the Zero Connect Box, meaning the TV is totally wireless except for a single power cord.

Also new with the W6 is Hyper Radiant Color Technology, which LG says will improve black, color, and brightness to its highest level while lowering reflection, and Brightness Booster Ultra, which LG claims achieves luminance levels up to 3.9 times brighter than conventional OLEDs.

The set will run on LG's Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor and feature a 4K 165Hz refresh rate.

This looks to be a truly impressive set, not just because of its thinness, but also because of the fact that it's wireless and features a top OLED panel. It will be available in 77-inch and 83-inch versions.

LG Gallery TV

Officially announced last week, the LG Gallery is the latest competitor to the Samsung Frame. Like the name implies, the MiniLED display is designed to authentically replicate canvas artwork when the set isn't in use.

We don't have a lot of the specs yet, since this is foremost an interior design piece, but we do know it will come in 55- and 65-inch models, run on the α (Alpha) 7 AI Processor, have 4K visuals, and immersive AI Sound Pro (Virtual 9.1.2ch) audio.

LG Micro RGB evo

Also new is the LG Micro RGB evo, available in 100-inch, 86-inch, and 75-inch sizes (if you're not familiar, Micro RGB is a new LED technology that allows for better color accuracy). This set runs on the Dual AI Engine-based α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3 and has more than a thousand dimming zones thanks to Micro Dimming Ultra.

LG C6 OLED (which now has two versions)

The C series is one of LG's most popular TVs every year, and this year it comes in two variations -- the C6 and the C6H. The biggest difference aside from size options (the C6H only comes in 77-inch and 83-inch sizes) is that the C6H utilizes a Primary RGB Tandem panel, which provides significantly better color and brightness.

Both will have the Alpha 11 Gen 3 processor and support 4K gaming at up to 165Hz with VRR.

LG G6 OLED

The G series returns as well, and the G6 also gets an upgrade to the Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 (a second-generation dual-layer OLED panel that makes the G6 20% brighter than last year's G5) and a new anti-glare coating that reduces screen reflectance to under 0.5%. The G6 also gets the same Hyper Radiant Color technology as the W6.

Gamers will want to take note of this set, as LG says the new G6 is the world's first TV to support 4K 120Hz cloud gaming through NVIDIA GeForce Now, and it features "Ultra-Low Latency" (ULL) Bluetooth for controllers with 1ms latency.

Pricing information isn't available for any of these sets yet.
