Netflix is kicking off the new year with another acclaimed crime thriller series, as the Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson-led His & Hers proves to impress critics upon its debut.
The new six-episode limited series follows an estranged married couple, Anna (Thompson), a news anchor, and Jack Harper (Bernthal), a detective, who are drawn back together to investigate a murder. However, both have their reasons to suspect the other in the case.
On the date of its Netflix premiere on January 8, 2026, His & Hers also debuted to an outstanding 100% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The current rating is aggregated from six reviews, but may fluctuate as more assessments from critics continue to roll in.
