With Julia Roberts, Ariana Grande, Kate Hudson and Kaley Cuoco on the guest list for the 2026 Golden Globes Jan. 11, the star-wattage—and the fashion barometer—are goin' up, up, up.
Nikki Glaser Reveals the One Celebrity She Can't Roast at Golden Globes
No doubt the attendees at the 2026 Golden Globes are gonna be, gonna be golden.
And the cast of Netflix's runaway smash KPop Demon Hunters—up for three trophies at the Jan. 11 ceremony, including best animated feature and best original song—were far from the only stars shinin' like they're born to be as they arrived at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills for the Nikki Glaser-hosted event honoring the television and films that kept us captivated this year.
For nominees like Sinners' Michael B. Jordan, One Battle After Another's Leonardo DiCaprio and Teyana Taylor, Marty Supreme's Timothée Chalamet, Hamnet's Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley, Die My Love's Jennifer Lawrence and Wicked: For Good's Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, it's their moment.
Dreamin' hard, they came so far, now they believe they could hear their names called as the trophies are handed out by presenters Kaley Cuoco, Kate Hudson, Kerry Washington, Mindy Kaling and Sarah Paulson in the ceremony airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another leads the pack with nine nods, including Best Director, Best Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Supporting Male Actor (Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn), Best Supporting Female Actor (Taylor), Best Female Actor – Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy (Chase Infiniti) and Best Male Actor – Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy (DiCaprio).
From the small screen side of the room, The White Lotus is checking in with six nominations, recognizing potential Best Supporting Female Actors Carrie Coon, Parker Posey and Aimee Lou Wood and possible Best Supporting Male Actors Walton Goggins and Jason Isaacs.

And with the star wattage turned all the way up, second-time host Glaser is tweaking her own performance.
Name-dropping nominees like DiCaprio, Penn and After the Hunt's Julia Roberts, the comedian noted to Gayle King on CBS Mornings Jan. 6, "I am a huge fan of these people. It’s easy for me to take down the newer batch of actresses and actors who are younger than me. It's like, 'OK, I can make fun of you. I'm like a veteran.' But when it's people that I grew up admiring, it's a different approach this year."
As such, she worried that it'd be a big mistake—huge—to poke fun at Roberts.
"I’m trying out my monologue around L.A., at the clubs here, and just even any joke about Julia Roberts, they are not there for," Glaser added. "You cannot make fun of America’s Sweetheart."
And the Oscar winner wasn't the only pretty woman walking the carpet outside the Beverly Hilton Jan. 11. Welcome to Hollywood. What's your dream? Because ours is to check out all of the night's looks.
