Golden Globes 2026: Leonardo DiCaprio Reacts to Nikki Glaser's Jab About Younger Girlfriends
Leonardo DiCaprio had no hard feelings towards Timothée Chalamet.
Indeed, the One Battle After Another star shared a sweet moment with the 30-year-old during the 2026 Golden Globes ceremony on Jan. 11, after Timothée won the award for Best Male Actor–Motion Picture–Musical/Comedy for his role in Marty Supreme.
In a video shared on E! News’ Instagram from inside the event at The Beverly Hilton, Leo—who was nominated for his role in One Battle After Another, shared a congratulatory hug with Timothée. (See the complete list of winners here.)
After Leo asked Timothée how he was doing during the exchange, the Marty Supreme star replied, “Good dude, I’m studying, I’m studying you man.”
Timothée continued to praise the veteran actor, mentioning watching his film The Wolf of Wall Street and getting “locked in.” Retuning the praise, Leo, 51, gave Timothée one more embrace before telling him, “I love you, man.”
Timothée was a standout in the stacked category which also included George Clooney, Ethan Hawke, Lee Byung-Hun and Jesse Plemons. Timothée’s win was also celebrated by his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, who gave him a kiss before he took the stage to accept his trophy.
Keeping up with their love story, the Call Me by Your Name actor gave his “partner” of three years a shoutout, telling her "I love you."
The CBS cameras then panned to the audience as Kylie—who wore a figure hugging custom Ashi Studio dress—hugged Chalamet's costar Odessa A'zion, saying, "I'm so happy."
Timothée’s awards season is off to a winning start. Indeed, before the Golden Globes, the A Complete Unknown star won the Best Actor trophy at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, where she made his first public declaration of love for Kylie.
"Thank you for our foundation," he said during his Best Actor speech. "I love you. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Appreciate it."
