2025 may be over, but one of its best movies is far from done. As the new year gets underway, the team at Fortnite appears to be working hard on its first major collaboration of the year. If new reports are right, then Fornite has its eyes trained on a major movie crossover that will make anime fans plenty excited.

And no, this time, we're not talking about a Dragon Ball or Naruto crossover. In the wake of Chainsaw Man the Movie: Reze Arc, it appears Fortnite is preparing its own anime crossover with the show's devils.

Chainsaw Man Is Allegedly Heading to Fortnite

At this time, there is no official word on the Fornite x Chainsaw Man crossover, but rumors are now swirling about the event. Leakers such as SamLeakss on social media are sounding the alarm, and to be frank, the reports do make sense. Not long ago, this data miner gave fans a heads-up about Fortnite's collaboration with Bleach before it went live. And in the wake of Chainsaw Man's blockbuster movie, the time for an in-game collaboration feels right.

With no official word on the alleged collaboration, fans will have to wait and see what comes of Chainsaw Man. The anime is keeping a low profile in the wake of its hit movie's release. However, the same cannot be said for the manga. Chainsaw Man is still alive and well as new chapters go live each week. Most recently, the manga set up its long-awaited Hell Arc as Denji is now heading to the underworld itself. The trip will force Denji to fight the War Devil at last, and of course, a number of damned devils will appear as the anime's protagonist ventures through hell.

Fornite & Anime Go Well Together, You Know?

Given Chainsaw Man's popularity, the anime's crossover with Fornite will be a solid one. It will join a long list of top-tier anime collaborations as well. To date, nearly a dozen anime crossovers have tackled Fornite including Cowboy Bebop, Hatsune Miku, My Hero Academia, and even One-Punch Man. It is only right that Chainsaw Man joins the list, and it won't be the last anime to do so.

Chainsaw Man is set to come back in a big way with its first movie this fall, but has the series' peak already come and gone?

After all, there are a number of high-profile anime that have yet to partner with Fortnite. The IP-loving game loves nothing more than a limited-time event, and most anime fans are eager to see One Piece sail into the game. As the anime eyes a new production schedule in 2026, it could easily make room for a Fortnite collab once Chainsaw Man runs through its tenure. So if I were you, I would start saving up V-Bucks ASAP.
