EXCLUSIVE: Actress Shantel VanSanten has signed with TFC Management for representation.
Most recently, VanSanten starred as special agent Nina Chase in the fifth and sixth seasons of the spin-off FBI: Most Wanted, where she reprised her role from Dick Wolf’s mothership series FBI on CBS. Nina is a well-seasoned FBI agent who is strong-willed, sharp, and used to working undercover—and she’s great at kicking bad guys’ behinds. The fan-favorite character was in a relationship with the FBI character Stuart Scola (John Boyd), with who she raised their infant son Douglas with.
Before that, she starred opposite Joel Kinnaman in the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series For All Mankind, from co-creators Ron Moore, Ben Nedivi, and Matt Wolpert. She played Karen Baldwin across multiple seasons of the alternate-history space drama.
For All Mankind explores what would have happened if the global space race had never ended. The series presents an aspirational world where NASA astronauts, engineers, and their families find themselves in the center of extraordinary events seen through the prism of an alternate history timeline — a world in which the USSR beats the US to the moon.
VanSanten is also widely recognized for portraying Becca Butcher on Prime Video’s hit series, The Boys, developed by Eric Kripke and based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Becca was Vought International’s Senior Director of Digital Marketing, with her major storyline connected to William “Billy” Butcher, played by Karl Urban. She recurred in seasons 1, 2, and 4.
The Minnesota native’s television breakthrough was on the CW’s hit series One Tree Hill, where she joined the ensemble cast as Quinn James in Season 7 and remained with the CW teen drama until its conclusion in 2012.
Her TV resume spans a wide range of network, cable, and streaming projects, including series regular and recurring roles on The Shooter (USA Network), The Flash (The CW), The Messengers (The CW), and the gone-too-soon Gang Related (Fox). On the film side, her credits include The Final Destination, American Murderer, and Something Wicked.
VanSanten continues to be represented by CAA and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
