Fans demand to know if Melissa McCarthy, 55, is on Ozempic as she looks thin at Golden Globes... after 'losing almost 100lbs'

Melissa McCarthy looked very slender at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday evening. 

The 55-year-old actress - who has been showing off her thinner frame after dropping around 95lbs - had on a form-fitting black gown by designer Christian Siriano.

The comedienne also had a row of gold accents going down the front of the dress while she added long diamond earrings and held onto a gold clutch purse.

She was a presenter alongside Kathryn Hahn as they announced the winner for the category Best Female Actor in a limited series, anthology, or made-for-television movie. Michelle Williams was named for Dying For Sex.

McCarthy's date for the night was her longtime husband Ben Falcone. McCarthy and Falcone share two teen daughters together, Vivian, 18, and Georgette, 16. 

Fans went wild for her thinner frame as they took to X with comments: 'Wow, I have never seen her that slender before,' wrote one while another added, 'She getting skinny 4 sure.' 

One said, 'Looks like Ozempic has done well for her' then there was this comment: 'I demand to know if she is on Ozempic, she needs to fess up.'

The Bridesmaids star has sparked Ozempic speculation, but has yet to confirm or deny using the medication to aid in her weight loss journey. 

McCarthy has been open about her weight fluctuating up and down over the years. 

And when it comes to her recent weight loss, it is estimated that the star has lost anywhere from 75lbs to 95lbs. 

'I'll be up, I'll be down, probably for the rest of my life,' she told Refinery29 back in 2019. 

'The thing is, if that is the most interesting thing about me, I need to go have a lavender farm in Minnesota and give this up. There has to be something more.'

McCarthy previously talked about not rushing when it comes to losing weight during an appearance on Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM in 2018, per Today. 

'What's the hurry? I think everybody's always kind of working on something. And I was like, "If I can de-stress and just do it slower and stop constantly trying to be on something."'

She added, 'And then it actually worked better instead of being like, "I'm gonna not do this and do this and only drink this."' 

The Ghostbusters actress also expressed at the time, 'After I had kids, I was just like, "I have to be realistic. It's not gonna go fast." But I mean, I feel great.'

While filming the 2015 movie Spy, McCarthy talked about keeping up with workouts to train for her role in the action comedy, such as strength training. 

The star also enjoys Piloxing ((Pilates + boxing) and tennis.
