A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he's an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, '70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, '90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they're good, and maybe even more when they're bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed "Canuxploitation."

An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

A soldier finds out that his own war is far from over in the stirring drama Sheepdog. Collider has an exclusive sneak peek of the film, which stars Virginia Madsen and Vondie Curtis-Hall. Sheepdog will be released in theaters on January 16, 2026. In our exclusive sneak peek, we see the inciting incident of the film, as Calvin Cole (Steven Grayhm, who also wrote and directed the film), a decorated US Army veteran, is out shopping when he thinks a fellow customer is whistling at him.

While the man denies knowing Calvin or whistling at him, Calvin becomes increasingly agitated and violent. As the man tries to defuse the situation, Calvin attacks him in front of the stranger's horrified wife, forcing store security to intervene and tase him into submission. The rest of the film deals with the fallout of the incident, as Calvin is put in the care of a trainee Veterans Affairs trauma therapist (Madsen), who's working at a diner to make ends meet. Meanwhile, his father-in-law (Curtis-Hall), an ex-con Vietnam veteran, shows up on his doorstep after being paroled. Can Calvin put both their lives back together?
