Cyberpunk 2077 has become one of the biggest and most popular open-world RPGs out there, growing its player-base significantly over the years from a somewhat troubled launch back in 2020. CD Projekt Red continues to engage its community with new Cyberpunk 2077 promotions and contests, and players can even take home incredible prizes.

Currently, Cyberpunk 2077 developers at CDPR are promoting a City of Legends Photo Mode Contest that comes with a top prize of a free RTX 5090 (via CDPR Forums). The contest is running now through January 11, with one grand-prize winner and nine runners-up being announced on February 6. All winners will also receive a Cyberpunk 2077 figurine and a "Displate" poster.

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Holding A Special Competition

Cyberpunk 2077 fans have a chance to win big in the new City of Legends Photo Mode Contest, and all it requires is that you take an inspired screenshot using the in-game photo mode and submit by posting it to the community Discord channel or the CDPR forum page. CDPR states that "the Prizes will be awarded to the Contestants who create the most creative and original Entries."

The best screenshots will capture "the heart of legends" in Night City, or those "folks whose names echo through stories [and] the places where landmarks became myth." Contestants should aim to capture the essence of what makes Night City "legendary," which can take many forms and is ultimately widely open to interpretation.

The grand prize winner will take home a shiny new GeForce RTX 5090, touted as "the most powerful GeForce GPU ever made," while the winner and the runners-up will also get a couple Cyberpunk 2077-themed consolation prizes.

You Can Still Enter

While the contest has been running for a few weeks already, you still have about five days to enter as of this writing. Entries will be accepted all the way up to this coming Sunday, January 11. If you're a Cyberpunk 2077 fan playing the game anyway, you might as well take a few minutes to snap an inspired screenshot and possibly take home a pretty sweet grand prize.

While this certainly isn't going to be the last time Cyberpunk 2077 throws an exciting contest or promotion, it's definitely a good example of how CDPR keeps players engaged beyond gameplay itself. With these promotions, along with significant and constant updates to the game over the years, it's no wonder the Cyberpunk 2077 community has grown into what it is today.
