The poster, shared by Mushoku Tensei's official anime website, confirms its July 2026 release date window alongside an upcoming mobile game this year. As Rudeus was last seen welcoming Roxy into his family with the intent of making her his second wife, Eris' return comes ahead of the next major Turning Point moment atop multiple memorable Mushoku Tensei arcs.
Eris Returns While Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Confirms July 2026 Release
While Eris' return itself isn't wholly surprising, given the teaser released this past summer, the release date window is highly encouraging. Coming more than two years after the conclusion of season 2 part 2, Mushoku Tensei season 3 will bring the story forward as fans see whether Eris' shocking disappearance paid off.
Despite the two sharing an intimate night together, Eris left Rudeus devastated the morning after by suddenly disappearing, with the intent of training to ultimately protect him. Given her return, it appears she is ready and committed to staying by his side. However, this also means stirring up controversies with the anime's particular claim to fame once again resurfacing.
Eris and Rudeus are particularly close (with one particular thing in common that makes this isekai relationship more troubling). Yet, Eris is also a beloved character in the Mushoku Tensei story whose return comes after a particularly blissful part of the protagonist's married life.

With its 2026 premiere, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 3 is just one component to a solid year for the isekai hit. Its upcoming mobile game, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation - Chronicle of Echoes, released a trailer to hype fans up for its release this year.
However, while the game's trailer reveals little in the way of details, Chronicle of Echoes' official website confirms it'll be a free-to-play 3D battle RPG, typical of developer Asobimo's output. For now, it's best to stay tuned for any new updates, and get ready for what tidings the Human God may bring next.
