Claudia Winkleman put on a stylish display as she arrived at the BBC studios ahead of The Traitors final on Friday.

The presenter, 54, has hosted the BBC game show - filmed in a castle in the Highlands - since its debut in 2022.

And after a tense series, the final episode will determine whether Traitors Rachel and Steven or Faithfuls Jack, Faraaz, Jade and James can clinch the win.

Host Claudia made her way to the BBC studios in London on Friday afternoon ahead of the final airing.

Claudia, who was beaming as she arrived at the studios, will appear in the final episode of Uncloaked to debrief the series in front of a live studio audience after it has aired.

For her day of filming, Claudia looked chic in a grey houndstooth zip-up jacket with 'JAM' written on the back and paired with skintight black leggings and huge chunky black patent leather boots.

In the penultimate instalment of The Traitors, viewers were left on a cliffhanger with Rachel Duffy, a Traitor, and James Baker, a Faithful, both at risk of banishment.

They each received three votes from their fellow players - leaving them tied and having to play a game of chance in order to survive.

Their fate will come down to the rare Chests of Chance, with one box containing a shield inside that would save either Traitor Rachel or Faithful James.

While the result wasn't revealed on the show, viewers think they have sussed out who stays following the Chests of Chance, and hit out at 'sloppy editing' by the BBC in the episode on Thursday.

One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: 'Rachel’s eyes are looking at an object in a box, James’ are looking at the box in its entirety. Sloppy editing… #TheTraitors.'

Another remarked: '#TheTraitors the last time they used the box of chance. The shield was at the back. Surely they can’t have put the shield in the same box this time.

'The producers of the show should have moved it to the front nearest the contestants. Rachel cleverly chose the box at the rear.'

A third said: 'Rachel got the shield btw, you can see her split-second reaction where her eyes raise.. you heard it here first #TheTraitorsUK #TheTraitors.'

However, a fourth disagreed that it was an obvious conclusion, as they wrote of the moment on screen: 'Nah don't think you can tell.'

Fans will ultimately find out the outcome of this tense banishment at the beginning of Friday's final.

Daily Mail have contacted the BBC for comment.

Elsewhere Dr Sam Brzezicki, a mathematician at Imperial College London, has used game theory to predict the likely champion.

And according to his analysis, it's not looking good for the Traitors.

'My prediction is that Jack and Faraaz are going to figure it out,' he explained. 'They're smart guys. But let's see what happens.'

Dr Brzezicki's analysis is based on game theory – a branch of mathematics often used for elections and business negotiations.

Game theory relies on spotting irrational play, which indicates players are more likely to leave.

The Traitors fans have been left convinced they have 'worked out' how Rachel will win the series with a 'secret' tactic - if she remains in the game tonight

In the penultimate instalment, viewers were left on a cliffhanger with Rachel Duffy, a Traitor, and James Baker (pictured), a Faithful, both at risk of banishment

Due to the suspicions on them throughout the series, Dr Brzezicki suggests that Rachel, James and Jade are 'very likely to all go'.

That will leave Stephen, Jack, and Faraaz as the final three.

However, Stephen has a history of irrational play, which Jack and Faraaz will likely then pick up on, according to Dr Brzezicki. 'Fiona defended him and him her, and she was a Traitor,' he explained. 'And although he threw suspicion on Rachel yesterday, he voted with her again – they have voted identically since mid game.'

Stephen's real downfall was not voting for Rachel during last night's roundtable, the mathematician adds.

'Stephen should have cut off Rachel and voted her out,' Dr Brzezicki explained. 'Even if she survives, she will go next and Stephen will have more attention drawn to him for this. Cutting her off masks his identity as a Traitor further.

'In the scenario where he wins, he also wants to win alone so he gets all the prize money. This was the time to cut her out of the picture.'

The Traitors final airs tonight at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer
