CES 2026 live — all the latest news from the world's biggest tech show

CES 2026 starts now! Well, not quite now – technically the show opens on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, with 'media day' known for its keynotes kicking off tomorrow, January 5, 2026. Even so, though, today is when the media gets previews of some of the most exciting tech coming to the show, so from our point of view, it's go, go, go from here.

What do we expect to see in Vegas this year? Well, you can read Editor at Large Lance Ulanoff's CES 2026 predictions to get fully up to speed, but in short: AI, AI, and more AI.

Of course, there will be much more than just the latest developments in artificial intelligence, so expect everything from new 2026 TVs and screen tech, new wearables, new smart home devices, new EV innovations, and, of course, the latest in phones and computing.

Having first visited CES back in 2014 and been countless times since, Jake Krol knows how to separate the best of the best from the barrage of gadgets we see every year. We'll have more from CES Unveiled shortly, but Samsung's big First Look 2025 event is about to kick off. Given that the tech giant isn't doing a formal keynote this year, this will be Samsung's big presentation. Historically, this has been the place for Samsung to unveil new TVs, home audio, and monitors, but in more recent years, it's all also been about AI, AI, and more AI.

Samsung's already teased and even pre-announced some key things – including an expansion of its microRGB lineup – so it'll likely be a full presentation.
