Céline Dion Makes Rare Comment About 3 Sons in New TikTok Video

Céline Dion's Grinch Transformation Is the Ultimate Holiday Gift

Céline Dion's sons asked her to join TikTok, and that's the way it is.

As Céline made her grand debut on the app—after previously exclusively sharing throwback performance clips—she did so with a rare shoutout to her three sons René-Charles, 24, and 15-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy

“My name is Céline,” she said in the Jan. 4 clip as she looked down at a black hoodie that barred her name. “How old am I?”

Quipping about her boys—whom she shares with late husband René Angélil— Céline mimicked their conversation noting, “I got kids, ‘We have to get you on TikTok and all that.’ And I’m like “What? On TikTok?”

“I’ve heard that before,” she added. “Suddenly I’m becoming cool. Céline Dion is cool. That’s amazing.”

Declaring she’s ready for the app, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer joked, “TikTok here I come.”

And she certainly made a splash. Further elaborating on her first experience with the app, the 57-year-old gave some BTS insight to her 4.7 million followers.

They told me, “Celine, it’s time…” I asked, “Time for what?” Turns out…something completely new. My team then said they’d handle everything, handed me back my phone, and then quietly disappeared. So here I am, learning how this TikTok world works…one video at a time! Thank you for being here, I’m glad we’re here together. - Celine xx…

Prior to Céline’s latest post came days after she showed off her comedic chops. In honor of the Christmas holiday, the “Power of Love” singer transformed into The Grinch. Donning the full costume, Celine impersonated the character as she ran through his busy holiday schedule and even (begrudgingly) belted out her 1996 single “All By Myself.”

“Silent night?” she captioned the post shared across her social media platform. “Not on my watch…”

Indeed, while her appearances on social media are few and far between, Céline—who was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022—knows the power of social media with her kids.

In March, Céline appeared in a video showing off her dancing and golf skills while on the course with her sons.

“I had a beautiful day with my boys out on the course,” she wrote alongside the March 19 Instagram video. “Getting back into the swing of things!!”
