‘Canada Shore’ Now Set For Paramount+ Globally; Cast Revealed In Trailer

EXCLUSIVE: Canada Shore just got supersized distribution on Paramount+.

Originally planned for Paramount+’s English-language markets, the latest series in the Shore franchise is now set for all territories in which the streaming service operates. It will drop globally on January 22, as announced in a teaser last month.

Also unveiled today are a trailer, which you can view above, and key art featuring the ten cast members and a Canadian moose. The trailer, which sees the cast riding bucking bronchos in a neon-lit bar, features series theme tune ‘Big Boom from Canadian dance-pop artist Rêve.

Canada Shore will see the larger-than-life cast partying, flirting and hook up in Kelowna, B.C.. Aged between 20 and 26, they comprise Bauer from Prince Albert; Christopher from Toronto; Emmett from Vancouver; Emmy from Fredericton; Ethan from Newmarket; Gizelle from Mississauga; Isaiah from Calgary; Keyaira from Halifax; Lila, also from Toronto; and Ryleigh from Bridgewater.

“This is Canada like you’ve never seen it before,” said Katrina Kowalski, Head of Content, Direct to Consumer for Paramount in Canada. “The cast and stories in Canada Shore have heart but they are also loud and unapologetic. The stereotype of the nice, polite Canadian is about to be shattered.”

The series marks the first time the Shore franchise has gone north of the U.S. border. It comes from Insight Productions and has Erin Brock as showrunner. Filming took place last summer after production was announced earlier in 2025.

The original show in the MTV franchise, Jersey Shore, made stars of cast members such as Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, Paul DelVecchio a.k.a DJ Pauly D, Jenni ‘JWOWW’ Farley and Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi. There have been 18 additional series since then, with the most recent format versions being Aussie Shore in Australia and Frenchie Shore in France.

Paramount’s Pluto TV runs the MTV Jersey Shore Channel, where chaotic moments from the show are available on demand. Snippets from the Canadian show will be included, with the first episode made available on January 22, when it launches globally on Paramount+.

In Canada, Paramount+ offers all Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore Family Vacation seasons, along with Aussie Shore and Acapulco Shore. Added to the local service this month are Seasons 1-5 of Geordie Shore, Double Shot at Love Seasons 1-3 and Floribama Shore Seasons 1-4. Buckhead Shore and Snooki & JWoww Seasons 1-4 will also join on January 20.
