Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz mirror David and Victoria's social media photos with cosy wine date nights, copycat outfits and even a new penchant for gardening

A week ago Brooklyn Beckham launched his grenade, exposing his his family feud which had been rumbling on for a year with a defiant statement separating himself from his parents.

In the days after the explosive Instagram post, the fallout has played out on social media.

Whilst Brooklyn concluded his statement by insisting that he and his wife Nicola Peltz wish to lead their life together privately, their strategic Instagram posts have continued to fuel the fight in recent days.

And there's something strangely familar about the couple's latest carousels of loved-up snaps.

Their photos from their luxurious Malibu getaway this week mirror Instagram posts shared by Victoria and David, from their restaurant selfies to copycat outfits and even Brooklyn's penchant for a garden, just like his green-fingered dad.

Restaurant romance 

After the Instagram bombshell, Brooklyn and Nicola retreated to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's favourite hotel - San Ysidro Ranch in the heart of the Sussexes' Montecito stomping ground.

Enjoying some time away at the luxury venue, where rooms range from £2,245 to as much as £9,069 a night, the couple have given their combined 20 million followers a glimpse at their no-expense-spared trip.

One snap shared by Brooklyn shows him planting a kiss on Nicola during a romantic dinner.

The photo mirrors a 2019 social media snap from his parents which shows a smiling David kissing Victoria, who has the same puckered-up facial expression as Nicola.

Seeing double  

Another snap taken during the Malibu break shows Brooklyn indulging in a glass of red wine. 

His dad David has been vocal for years about his penchant for a pricey bottle of red, previously sharing his appreciation for Chateau Margaux, which begins at £500 and can go up to £2,000 for older vintages - a bottle that Brooklyn is also a fan of.

In his latest carousel of photos Brooklyn shared a look at an 'extremely rare and historic' 1831 Château d'Yquem which could set you back an average $23,000 (£16,687) a bottle.

The rare vintage famously made history as the world's most expensive wine in 2011 after a 200-year-old bottle was sold for an astonishing £75,000.

On Tuesday, Brooklyn had two dusty bottles of the almost impossible to find wine at his disposal as he settled down to a boozy, romantic dinner with his wife and their pet dog, Lamb.

Copycat selfies 

Bringing their PDA to Instagram, one picture shows Nicola blowing a kiss at the camera as Brooklyn smiles in the background.

The selfie, taken at a white-clothed dinner table is very similar to one David posted with Victoria during a recent dinner date.

Away from the professonal photocalls and stage-managed shoots, both couples are fans of a humble selfie.

Dressing up 

Brookly proudly snapped a photo of his wife looking glam in a black halterneck dress during the vacation.

Styled with heels the date night look wouldn't have looked out of place on Victoria, who is known for her signature black dresses and classic cuts in her eponymous fashion line.

One key argument in the family feud centered on Victoria allegedly cancelling her plans to make Nicola's wedding dress 'in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.'

Whilst Nicola would not be seen in one of her mother-in-law's designs now, she was previously a proud model for Victoria's clothes.

The designer even once gushed that Nicola loved raiding her personal closet telling Vogue in a 2024 interview 'if one of the young kids wants to borrow my clothes, whether it's Harper or one of the boy's girlfriends, that's flattery, right? Because they're significantly younger than me, so that's good.'

PDA photos

With his smitten snaps, Brooklyn has defiantly doubled down on his statment that he is choosing his wife over his parents.

One particularly PDA-packed photo shows the couple kissing in their hotel bathroom, with Romeo dressed in his underwear and a t-shirt.

The snap is similar to one shared by his parents in 2023 which sees Victoria leaning up to kiss a shorts-clad David.

Green with envy 

The romantic retreat Brooklyn and Nicola are staying at includes lavish gardens full of lavender, rosemary, and lemons which feature in the spa's signature massage oils.

Brooklyn shared a snap of the pretty gardens, which could have been taken in the grounds of the Beckham family's Cotswolds home.

Born and bred in London, David fell in love with horticulture when he bought his 24-acre Cotswolds estate, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, eight years ago.

He set out transforming the house and gardens, planting hundreds of trees and installing a lake to encourage waterfowl.

The former football player is also said to be exceptionally proud of his extensive kitchen garden, growing plums, pears, apples, kale, potatoes, onions, carrots, salads and roots, and posting the results on Instagram.

What a view

As well as a Beckham-style herb garden the grounds of San Ysidro Ranch also features a fairy-light adorned pergola, as snapped by Nicola.

The pretty pergola is very similar to the one in David and Victoria's Cotswolds garden, shared in various social media snaps by the couple. 

Both pergolas are drenched in flowers and foliage with plenty of enteraining space underneath.
