Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes' Daughter Sterling Wears $4,000 Accessory to NFL Game
Brittany Mahomes is pumping past the pain.
The Sports Illustrated model showed off her progress in the gym more than a year and a half after fracturing her back due to a pelvic floor injury.
Brittany—who shares kids Sterling, 4, Bronze, 3, and Golden, 11 months, with husband Patrick Mahomes—was celebrated by her fitness coach Kristy Rae as she squatted 70lbs of weight.
"A year and a half ago, rehabbing a broken back meant severe pain and limited movement,” Kristy wrote in a since-expired video on her Instagram Story Jan. 5. “Now, almost a year postpartum and progressively getting stronger every week. Proof that the body is capable of incredible things when you meet it with patience and intentional training.”
Further celebrating Brittany’s progress, she added, "So proud of you @brittanylynne.”
In March 2024, the 30-year-old shared her injury as she offered fellow postpartum mothers sound advice.
"Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously,” she wrote alongside a selfie at the time. "From: A girl with a fractured back."
Just three short months later, Kristy offered an encouraging update on Brittany, alongside a video of her lifting smaller weights, she wrote, "Back poppin. Back pain has resolved so we are slowly getting back to overhead lifts with lighter weight."

Indeed, Brittany was happy to confirm that she healed from her injury, telling E! News at the time, "I'm doing great. I'm living my best life. My back is no longer broken, so that's good."
Fast-forward to present day, the Mahomes family is also working through another setback. Last month, Patrick suffered a season-ending injury after tearing his ACL in his knee during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Dec. 14 face-off against the Los Angeles Chargers.
“Don’t know why this had to happen,” Patrick, also 30, wrote on X Dec. 14. “And not going to lie it’s hurts. But all we can do now is Trust in God and attack every single day over and over again. Thank you Chiefs kingdom for always supporting me and for everyone who has reached out and sent prayers.”
Remaining optimistic, the quarterback added, “I Will be back stronger than ever.”
