Bradley Cooper Shares Rare Insight Into Bond With 8-Year-Old Daughter Lea

Bradley Cooper is revealing a page from his playbook.

Indeed, The Hangover star subtly addressed online speculation that he underwent cosmetic surgery, noting that he’s recently also received in-person comments for his appearance.

“Some people came up to me the last couple weeks," Bradley, 51, told Jason BatemanSean Hayes, and Will Arnett during the Jan. 5 podcast episode of Smartless"They're like, 'Oh, you look good!’”

And Will echoed the accusation, adding, “It made me mad because people say that all the time and I’m like it’s such a hilarious thing. Everybody thinks that they know. You know you read that bulls--t stuff."

The Silver Linings Playbook actor—who has been romantically linked to Gigi Hadid since 2023—addressed the plastic surgery rumors after Will was asked to name one fact about Bradley that people don't already know about him in a previous interview.

"I said, 'Well, there's a lot'," Will said. "And then I was gonna say, because we keep reading it, ‘everybody thinks that Bradley's had plastic surgery.’ Everybody keeps saying that. I'm like, 'What people don't know is that he hasn't.’ Of course, he hasn’t!”

While this is the first time that Bradley—who shares 8-year-old daughter Lea with ex Irina Shayk—has publicly addressed plastic surgery rumors, he previously made comments about a separate transformation after receiving backlash for wearing a prosthetic nose to portray legendary composer Leonard Bernstein in the 2023 film Maestro

"The truth is, I've done this whole project out of love," Bradley told CBS Mornings in November 2023. "And it's so clear to me where I come from—my nose is very similar to Lenny's, actually. The prosthetic is actually like a silk sheet."

Bradley—who co-wrote and directed the Netflix film of the Jewish composer—also explained why he used prosthetics.

"It's all about balance, and, you know, my lips are nothing like Lenny's, and my chin," he continued. "And so we had that, and it just didn't look right. We just had to do it. Otherwise, I wouldn't believe he's a human being."

And Leonard's children, JamieAlexander and Nina, defended the actor's decision.

"Bradley Cooper included the three of us every step of his amazing journey as he made his film about our father," they said in a joint statement posted to Instagram in August 2023. "We were touched to the core to witness the depth of his commitment, his loving embrace of our father's music, and the sheer open-hearted joy he brought to his exploration. It breaks our hearts to see any misrepresentations or misunderstandings of his efforts."

The rapper responded, "I really appreciate the love! I'm natural, besides my lips, accept the fact I'm naturally beautiful."

The "God's Plan" rapper shut down rumors in September 2025 that he had plastic surgery to make his abs more defined, explaining the fan speculation was a result of using a photo editing app.

"I came from the gym, I was sweaty in that pic," he said during an episode of Bobbi Althoff’s Not This Again podcast. "Maybe I heightened the saturation or something on it."

He added, "I think I hit it too hard. They don't look like that."

While Drake noted that people go under the knife "all the time," he isn’t one of them.

"People also say that I got a BBL," he continued, referencing the popular Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. "They call me 'BBL Drizzy.'"

She continued, "Some days, I like it. I feel like my face has gained character even as it's lost its youthful prettiness. And it seems a fair trade off."

“Still never even been under the knife or anesthesia in my life for the 15th year in a row!!” Lana wrote on Instagram in September 2025, per a screenshot captured by People. “But if u use filler like [my doctor] used to- to build up the bridge of your nose it looks tall no bump. Takes seven minutes.”

The nonsurgical rhinoplasty Lana referred is “a cosmetic procedure where dermal fillers are used to temporarily change the shape of your nose,” according to the Cleveland Clinic. Though the procedure is less invasive, the results only last up to six months.

"Nah. It's not my thing," the Oscar winner told MORE magazine in 2007. "I don't have anything against it for other people. Whatever they want to do, I'm fine with it. For me, it's really a self-image thing. Like, I'd rather have somebody go, "Wow, that girl has a big nose" than 'Wow, that girl has a bad nose job.' I'd rather have a comment about who I am than about something that identifies me as being ashamed of who I am."
