Billy Bob Thornton and Ariana Greenblatt are set to star in Somedays, a feature film that Brian Klugman is writing and directing. Tucker Tooley Entertainment is financing and producing. Joining Tooley as financiers are Streamline Global, Eighteen 88 and Three Point Capital.
The film follows a weary delivery driver with months to live who saves a brilliant but troubled teenage girl. The two form an unlikely, life-changing bond that teaches them both what it truly means to live.
Andrew Panay and Jennifer Gibgot of Ethea Entertainment are also producing along with Geyer Kosinski for Media Talent Group. Greg Renker and Gregoire Gensollen will executive produce for Tooley Entertainment along with Klugman, Philip Waley, Molly Conners, Amanda Bowers, Andrea Bucko and Nate Tuck for Ethea.
Klugman co-created the story for Disney’s Tron: Legacy and made his feature debut with 2012’s The Words, starring Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana and Jeremy Irons. His credits also include the 2015 indie Baby, Baby, Baby.
Thornton can currently be seen in Landman, which is currently in its second season on Paramount+. The series has earned him Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations. Greenblatt was most recently seen in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. Other credits include Barbie and Avengers: Infinity War.
Thornton is repped by WME, Media Talent Group and Myman/Greenspan. Greenblatt is repped by CAA, Untitled Entertainment and Jackoway Austen.
