EXCLUSIVE: Nava Mau (Baby Reindeer, Generation) and Malia Pyles (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) are set for guest-starring roles in Season 2 of the NBC drama Brilliant Minds. The series aired its mid-season finale on December 1, and will return tonight at 10 pm on NBC.
Mau will appear in episode 215, “The Missing Person,” scheduled to air on March 2, in the role of Denise. Denise is found collapsed after a night at the club. Her air of mystery is punctured when our team discovers what exactly this party girl is running away from…
Pyles will appear in episode 213, “The Rabbit Hole,” scheduled to air on January 26. Pyles plays Nora Sutton, a mechanical engineering student by day who hangs with her Theta Epsilon Phi sisters by night. She’s not your typical sorority girl in any sense. While Nora loves her tight-knit circle of sorority sisters, her truest partner-in-crime is her nerdy older sister.
Inspired by the life and work of author and physician Oliver Sacks, Brilliant Minds follows Dr. Oliver Wolf, a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist, and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier – the human mind – while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
In addition to Quinto, Brilliant Minds also stars Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears, Donna Murphy, John Clarence Stewart, Brian Altemus and Al Calderon. Bellamy Young and Sarah Steele are recurring guest stars in Season 2.
Michael Grassi serves as writer and executive producer. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, Lee Toland Krieger, DeMane Davis, Jasmine Russ, Henrik Bastin, Jonathan Cavendish, Andy Serkis and Shefali Malhoutra also executive produce.
Berlanti Productions, Fabel Entertainment, The Imaginarium, Grassi Productions and Tavala produce in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
