EXCLUSIVE: Aya Cash (Vought Rising) has signed with WME, joining her agent Dean Fluker, who moved over at end of year from UTA, as we reported exclusively.
After starring as Stormfront in Seasons 2 and 3 of the hit Amazon superhero series The Boys, Cash is currently exec producing and starring opposite Jensen Ackles in the anticipated prequel series Vought Rising for Prime Video. This spring, she will make her Broadway debut starring opposite John Lithgow in Giant, directed by Nicholas Hytner, which won the Olivier Award for Best New Play this past year. Upcoming, she’ll also be seen in the films Reykjavik with Jeff Daniels and Jared Harris, Kill Me with Charlie Day and Allison Williams, and Bruton with Theo Rossi and Tony Hale.
In addition to The Boys, for which she won a Critics Choice Super Award, Cash has recently been seen starring in Armando Iannucci and Sam Mendes’ HBO comedy series The Franchise; FX’s Emmy-nominated miniseries Fosse/Verdon alongside Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams; and FXX’s acclaimed comedy You’re the Worst, created by Stephen Falk, which earned her 2016 TCA and Critics Choice Award nominations. She’s also appeared opposite Elle Fanning in the Hulu limited series The Girl from Plainville, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer in the Showtime limited series The First Lady, and in the Fox comedy Welcome to Flatch.
In film, Cash has previously starred in We Broke Up opposite William Jackson Harper; Tayarisha Poe’s The Young Wife, which premiered at SXSW; the Shudder pic Scare Me, which premiered at Sundance; Mary Goes Round, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and earned her the Excellence in Acting award at the Vail Film Festival; and the Netflix comedy Game Over, Man!. She continues to be repped by Industry Entertainment, Paul Hastings, and Relevant.
