Asus announced a bunch of new laptops across its ZenBook, ProArt, ExpertBook lineups, and more. They feature the company's Lumina OLED screens, which provide at least 120Hz refresh rates, accurate, Pantone-validated color, and up to 600 nits of brightness.

From a bigger thin and light laptop to a rugged GoPro Edition machine, Asus also had a few surprises up its sleeve at CES 2026. Let's take a look at what was announced.

Last year, Asus announced the Zenbook A14 as its thinnest and lightest laptop in the portfolio. It was powered by a flagship Qualcomm chipset and lasted more than 20 hours on a single charge. I loved using it as my work machine for the better part of 2025. It is now getting a sibling, the ZenBook A16, with a 16-inch OLED display, 3K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

You can get the Asus ZenBook A16 in several configurations, including a top-of-the-line variant powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme chip, paired with up to 48GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It has a 70Wh battery, six speakers, Wi-Fi 7, and most ports that you'd want from your laptop. All of this is packed inside a 1.2kg form factor, built out of the rugged Ceraluminum proprietary material.

The Asus ZenBook Duo (2026) is everything I wanted from the 2025 model: a sturdier build, thinner bezels, a better kickstand, an improved hinge design, and a larger battery. You get two 14-inch OLED touchscreens with a 2,880 x 1,800-pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness for supported HDR content. It will be available in two processor configurations, including the Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor (with 48 TOPs NPU) and Core Ultra 9 386H chip (with 50 TOPs NPU).

Asus shrunk the bezels around the hinge to deliver a 93% screen-to-body ratio and a more immersive experience. At 1.65kg in weight and 14.6mm in thickness (without the keyboard), it's slightly thicker at its thickest point due to a new hinge design. However, it feels more rugged and has an improved keyboard layout with a bigger trackpad and a more comfortable typing experience.

The Asus ProArt PZ14 is a Microsoft Surface Pro competitor that's lighter and comes with a bundled keyboard. It is being positioned as a high-performance, ultra-mobile workstation designed for creators who require professional-grade tools in a portable form factor (0.79kg without the keyboard). However, it misses out on a built-in kickstand.

The ProArt PZ14 (HT7407NA) has a 14-inch OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 3K resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, you get a  Snapdragon X2 Elite 18-core processor, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. It is built to US Military Grade MIL-STD 810H standards and is rated IP52 for dust and splash resistance.

Asus also announced a ProArt GoPro Edition. It is a compact laptop that's designed specifically for mobile creators and action videographers by combining portability and high-end performance. You get an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor (80MB cache, up to 5.1GHz, 16 cores, 32 Threads), 73Wh battery, 128GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. The ProArt GoPro Edition weighs 1.39kg and is certified for US Military Grade (MIL-STD 810H) toughness.

The Asus ProArt GoPro Edition (PX13) features a 13.3-inch 3K OLED touch screen in a 16:10 aspect ratio for expanded vertical workspace. You don't get a GoPro with the purchase of this laptop, but Asus is bundling 12 months of GoPro Premium+ subscription alongside six months of CapCut and three months of Adobe Creative Cloud. It also offers a one-stop AI-powered media hub for organizing your footage, called the StoryCube.

The ASUS ExpertBook Ultra is another high-performance, thin-and-light laptop. It is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, housed in a 10.9mm design. It is rated to deliver up to 50W TDP performance -- thanks to a redesigned cooling system -- and can last up to 24 hours on a single charge.

The new ExpertBook Ultra laptop meets NIST SP 800-193 standards, making it resilient to firmware attacks. During my brief hands-on, I liked the 14-inch 120Hz 3K Tandem OLED panel, which stacks two layers of light-emitting pixels to offer a brighter and more vivid screen.

The new Asus laptops don't have a price tag yet, and most of them will hit the shelves in the coming months.
