Anker’s AeroFit 2 Pro can be worn as open-ear headphones or ANC earbuds

Anker announced a new version of its AeroFit Pro headphones at CES 2026 that give you the option to hear the world around you, or block it out using ANC. The traditional design of open-ear headphones leave your ears wide open, but Anker’s new Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro have an adjustable ear hook design that can be used to reposition the drivers at the entrance of the ear canal, creating a seal that enables both passive and active noise cancellation.

Two sensors in each earbud are used to recognize how the AeroFit 2 Pro are being worn and to automatically recalibrate the EQ to ensure “consistent and optimized sound performance across both listening modes.” In earbud mode, the AeroFit 2 Pro uses six microphones and Soundcore’s Adaptive ANC 3.0 system to adjust the noise cancelling performance up to 180 times each second to adapt to changing environmental conditions. But don’t expect the ANC performance to rival the noise cancelling capabilities of flagship earbuds from Sony or Bose.

Despite using 11.8mm drivers that are smaller than the 16.2mm drivers found in the original AeroFit Pro, the new version has a much shorter battery life. The originals offered up to 14 hours of playback boosted to 46 hours with their charging case, but the new AeroFit 2 Pro max out at 7 hours (34 hours with the case) in open-ear mode, or just 5 hours (24 hours with the case) in ANC earbud mode. The AeroFit 2 Pro will be available through Soundcore’s online store starting on January 6th, 2026, for $179.99. They’ll launch in a matte black color option first, but will later be available in gloss white, matte purple, and gloss blue.

Anker is also introducing an updated version of its wireless sleep buds that use ANC, passive sound blocking, and noise generation to reduce the volume of disturbances that can disrupt sleep. Through a new partnership the Sleep A30 Special can play Calm Sleep Stories right from the Soundcore app, so you have another option to help you wind down and fall asleep at night.

The new Special version of the Sleep A30 also get a small battery boost to up to 10 hours when using Bluetooth and ANC, or up to 50 when paired with their charging case. Battery life can be further boosted to up to 16 hours on buds alone for extended overnight use, but that’s while listening to on-device noise-masking audio and with ANC turned off. The Sleep A30 Special will also be available through Soundcore’s online store starting on January 6th, 2026, for $199.99.

Anker’s new Soundcore headphones are joined by a new palm-size Bluetooth speaker called the Boom Go 3i. It’s got a 4,800mAh battery giving it up to 22 hours of battery life, but that’s while using a power-saving “eco mode” that limits performance and features. Expect that to be much shorter with the volume maxed and the Boom Go 3i’s LED lighting in use. The Boom Go 3i offers up to 15W of sound, which is much louder than JLab’s similarly sized Pop Party speaker, and it’s expected to be priced at around $65 to $80 when it launches in March 2026.
