GLAMBOT: Teyana Taylor | Critics Choice Awards 2026
The results are in, and these Hollywood couples are all winners.
When it came time for the 2026 Critics Choice Awards on January 4, many of the attendees arrived with the perfect accessory: their plus one. Indeed, the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica proved to be the perfect venue for celebrities looking to turn the award ceremony—honoring the best in both film and TV—into date night.
Among the many couples to walk the red carpet together were Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, the former among the nominees for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his work in Nobody Wants This.
For the occasion, the pair dressed to the nines, with Leighton in a lilac-colored shift dress while Adam wore a pin-striped suit at her side. (See every star here.)
Other couples turning the carpet into date night included Adam Sandler and Jackie Sandler, Mark Ruffalo and his wife Sunrise Coigney as well as Ryan Coogler and Zinzi Coogler.
And one thing was for certain: each of the couples were all smiles as they walked the carpet together. After all, there is much to celebrate as the CCAs kick off the 2026 award season.
The ceremony also stands as a kind of foreshadowing for what the rest of the season might hold.
Heading into the CCAs on Jan. 4 some of the biggest contenders for film include One Battle After Another, Sinners, Hamnet and Marty Supreme, while TV boasts nominees such as Severance, The Pitt, Pluribus, The Studio and Hacks.

On the acting side, stars such as Michael B. Jordan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Wagner Moura, Paul Mescal, Jessie Buckley, Teyana Taylor, Emma Stone, Chase Infiniti and Rose Byrne are all crossing their fingers for a win as they enter the CCAs.
Meanwhile, for television, actors Adam Scott, Noah Wyle, Diego Luna, Tramell Tillman, Rhea Seehorn, Britt Lower, Bella Ramsey, Skye P. Marshall and Greta Lee are among the nominees.

As for what the ceremony might hold? Repeat host Chelsea Handler put it perfectly.
“Kicking off the year with the Critics Choice Awards feels right," she said when her hosting duties were announced in November. "Nothing says ‘new beginnings’ like a room full of critics ready to tell you how you did last year.”
