A new Life is Strange game, titled Life is Strange: Reunion, has been rated in Europe. Since being discovered by fans, the game's presence on the PEGI website has since been removed.

Still viewable on Gematsu, Life is Strange: Reunion, was rated 16 like every entry in the series since Life is Strange: True Colors. According to the rating, the filing was published back in March of 2025.

There was a description of Life is Strange: Reunion too, outlining that Chloe Price would come to Caledon University to seek out Max Cauldfield's help, haunted by nightmares and "impossible memories". However, with an inferno set to destroy the campus in three days, Max is already in crisis.

The rating states that Life is Strange: Reunion is set to feature the use of illegal drugs, and that purchasable outfits are available for real money, as well as a digital deluxe upgrade. Aside from that, there's little else in terms of information about the release.

The previous entry in the Life is Strange series, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, was released in November of 2024. Reportedly a loss for Square Enix, the game teased the return of franchise favourite Max Caufield. Following its release, developer Deck Nine suffered layoffs. CEO Mark Lyons stated at the time: "This was an extremely difficult decision and reflects the challenging times our industry is currently facing."

Life is Strange: Double Exposure itself received mixed reviews from players and critics alike. In Eurogamer's review, Tom Phillips wrote: Like its own hero's dabbling with time travel, Life is Strange: Double Exposure highlights the troubles of trying to revisit old memories, while raising unanswered questions about the future."
