Few shows have garnered the kind of immediate public support and viral buzz quite like “Heated Rivalry.” From Canadian production company Bell Media, and streaming in the U.S. on HBO Max, the hockey romance series has propelled its two leads, Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, into the kind of celebrity stratosphere normally reserved for K-pop groups or Disney stars, with fervant fans lining up to see the actors in person and following their every outfit, interview and move online.
The success of “Heated Rivalry,” which is based on a book series by author Rachel Reid, has also spurred the sales of merch online, from the original book — which is now a New York Times bestseller and topping the Amazon charts — to fan-made merch, that’s popping up on sites like Etsy and Redbubble.
Die-hard “Heated Rivalry” fans have created everything from candles and T-shirts, to hockey jerseys from the fictitious Boston Raiders and Montreal Metros teams depicted on the show. The “Heated” hype — and merch train — shows no signs of slowing down, especially as Storrie and Williams continue to make the press rounds to promote the now-concluded first season of the show. Sony Music, meantime, has also started to roll out tracks from the official “Heated Rivalry” soundtrack.
It’s not clear if Crave or HBO Max have official merchandise or apparel release plans to hop on the success of the show. But in the meantime, here are 13 pieces of fan-made “Heated Rivalry” merch you can pick up online.
I’m Coming to the Cottage Candle
Perhaps the most famous line — and now catchphrase — to come out of “Heated Rivalry’s” first season was when Storrie’s character of Ilya Rozanov lets his love interest Shane Hollander (Williams) know that he’s accepting the latter’s offer to come to his cottage.
Hollander had suggested in a previous scene that the two could escape to the cottage — essentially a cabin in the woods — to finally spend time together alone and away from the spotlight. This hand-poured candle captures the vibe of the cottage, with cozy scents like “Apple Harvest” or “Cinnamon Vanilla.” You can choose from six other scents too. Each candle is made from a natural soy wax and burns for up to 60 hours.
Stupid Canadian Wolf Bird Sweatshirt
Speaking of the cottage, Rozanov is startled in episode six when he hears an unfamiliar cry coming from the lake. Turns out it’s just a loon, or as the Russian hockey player calls it later, a “stupid Canadian wolf bird.”
That phrase — and the actually-very-gentle loon — is embroidered onto this unisex sweatshirt, available in sizes small to 5XL and in more than a dozen colors. We’re partial to this forest green colorway, which adds to the cottage vibes.
Hollander Rozanov Hockey Romance Ceramic Mug
The star-crossed (or hockey stick-crossed) lovers are commemorated on this fan-made mug, which features an image of Rozanov and Hollander from the back to show off their jerseys. The other side of the mug has an illustration of their hockey sticks and official jersey numbers. This 11 oz. mug comes in a white base with your choice of four accent colors.
Boston Raiders Sweatshirt
Rozanov plays for the fictitious Boston Raiders team, who are part of the also-fictitious Major League Hockey (MLH), but you can pick up a Raiders jersey or sweatshirt IRL thanks to creative Etsy sellers. This hoodie features the Raiders logo and Rozanov’s number 81 and is available in unisex sizes small to 3XL and more than a dozen colors.
Heated Rivalry Quarter-Zip Sweatshirt
We could totally see the preppy Hollander wearing this quarter-zip shirt, which features his name, number and team color. But look carefully at the sleeve and you’ll spot a subtle shoutout to Rozanov’s hockey stick and number too. The Etsy seller says each piece is embroidered to order. Choose from sizes small to 3XL.
Heated Rivalry-Inspired T-Shirt
Rozanov and Hollander play for opposing teams on the show, but the two are teamed-up for the MLH All-Star Game, where they finally get to show their support for one another — albeit as teammates. This vintage-inspired T-shirt captures a rare moment of PDA from the two, with the Etsy seller describing it as a “discreet but meaningful” scene. Choose from sizes small to 4XL and six different colors. We like the “graphite” or “pepper” colorways, which give off that washed, lived-in look.
But Daddy I Love Ilya iPhone Case
Show off your love for hockey hunk Rozanov with this phone case, made from a durable, shock-absorbant material. A soft baby blue hue lines the back of the case, while the other parts are semi-transparent. The artist-designed case is available for most iPhone and Samsung models.
Heated Rivalry Wall Calendar 2026
The start of a new year means it’s time for a new calendar, and what better way to ring in each month than with a photo from the show? Dubbed the “Hollanov” calendar (the fan nickname for the couple), select months and pages also feature photos from Storrie and Williams’ social media posts, along with promotional images released last year.
Embroidered Heated Rivalry Cap
These embroidered caps feature a collegiate-inspired design, with the player name and number stitched onto a durable cotton twill material. An adjustable strap helps this hat fit most head sizes. Choose from a Rozanov or Hollander design (you’ll need to specify which name you want in the “personalization” section of checkout).
Custom Toploader Hockey Photocard Holder
And you can create your own “Heated Rivalry” hockey cards by picking up these custom-made photo holders from Etsy, which let you slide your own printed photos into laminated sleeves. The sleeves also come with a pre-printed photo of the player of your choice.
Heated Rivalry Book (Game Changers, 2)
If you have yet to read the book that inspired “Heated Rivalry,” Amazon has it on sale right now for just $17. But hurry: this book has been selling quickly online so you’ll want to pick it up while it’s still in stock. You can also listen to the audiobook for just $0.99 as part of an Audible promotion here.
“Heated Rivalry” concluded its first season in December. Bell Media and Canadian streaming service, Crave, have confirmed that a second season has been ordered.
